The author's honesty is undoubtedly valuable. He does not adopt a lecturing tone or polish his memories, and he can be critical of himself and his actions. This sincerity, evident from the very beginning, strengthens his message. That is clearly what he wants: to be credible, to have readers take his advice seriously and to let them learn from his mistakes. As he points out, however, “There is no better lesson than one you have paid for out of your own pocket.”

Tomasz Warchoł was born in 1988. Until 2014, he worked as cabin crew for one of Europe's largest airlines, living in Bremen, Germany; Kaunas, Lithuania; and Birmingham, England.
After completing college in the United Kingdom, he owned an electrical installation business operating first in England and later in Poland. He runs the blog “Jestem w lesie. O polskim biznesie”. He is married to Gosia and is the father of two daughters, Inka and Ewa.
