She earned a bachelor's degree in arts at Colombia's Facultad de Artes — ASAB, then studied screen acting and voice work at the New York Film Academy. Today, she runs Latyna Studios.

She was recently nominated for the third consecutive year for Best Spanish Voice Over in the USA by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS), in the Outstanding Narration, Animation and Audiobook categories.
